    Thanks, y’all! We’re back from the honeymoon and working on returning to real life. Hopefully, this will also involve a return to blogging.

    (Also, Cakey is somewhat frightening. Our actual cake was happily inanimate and nonsentient. And delicious. Mmmm, cake.)

    I remember, I remember:

    - Sitting around on the second floor of Spanish House for like a semester while Mark and Dana flirted shamelessly with one another.
    - Mark’s measurement, by satellite-verified time, of the number of seconds before Dana’s return from Japan.
    - Ann wrinkling her nose in Cowles about this Mark guy of whom she was certain she wouldn’t approve despite everyone’s affection for him. Then being inexorably won over, like the rest of us.

    Congratulations again! I’d speculate that they would combine into one allpowerful SuperGeek, but I haven’t felt the earth tremble recently or seen fiery portents in the sky, so I’m assuming that you intend to have mercy on the human race.
