Dinner at Chez Geek

In an echo of Jennie’s cry of “I’m an adult, I swear!,” as well as an amusing revisit of our previous conversation about dinosaur to chicken evolution, a picture of the dinner Mark and I had the other night:

Dino Nuggets!

What is it, you ask? Surely you can tell. Dino nuggets, of course! The finest geek food Costco can offer, chicken nuggets in the shape of dinosaurs. There appear to be three shapes: stegosaurus, triceratops, and Tyrannosaurus rex, as far as we can tell.

Please note that it is accompanied by Mark’s homemade honey mustard sauce, so these are gourmet dino nuggets.

For what it’s worth, I don’t think that there are more than two kinds. I think the ones down on all fours are either supposed to look like a triceratops or a stegosaurus, but being chicken nuggets, they don’t do a very good job on the fine details, and much of it is left to the viewers’ (and eaters’) imagination. The others are almost certainly intended to look like T. Rex, though.

Regardless, they are at least as tasty as any other variety of chicken nuggets, and twice as fun.

Bah, French. As I am sure you already know, it is intended as “Dinner at faux restaurant name with ‘geek’ in it.” So there. :-p
